Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People is one of the most brilliant books ever written on self improvement. The author suggests seven habits that can transform one's life. The habits tell us how to conduct ourselves in  the day to day life to excel. Author divides the habits into two different groups of Private and Public victories. Habits related to private victory are the ones that we must follow to improve ourselves while the habits related to public victory are the ones that we must follow while interacting with others. So here are the habits

Private Victory

  • Be Proactive(be responsible for everything happening to you. Don't execute the script provided to you by others).
  • Start with end in mind. (Find your mission in life. Create goals for your life in different roles that you perform based on this mission.  From time to time review the mission and the goals. Follow this mission through out your life).
  • Put first things first. (Prioritize. Invest more time in the important tasks rather than the urgent but unimportant tasks)
Public Victory
  • Think Win-Win
  • Listen first to others
  • Synergy (Look to collaborate with others in such a way that two plus two becomes more than four)
Overall
  • Sharpen the saw - Spent every day at least half an hour on exercises and another half an hour on breathing and meditation. Invest in yourself.
